Recent Community Council News and Events
Community council meetings are typically the 2nd Wednesday of each
month at the town office. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate
in the programs that are being offered.
Volunteers are always needed to make the program of the quality we
would like to see. Please join us at our next meeting and share your thoughts.

comments and questions to the Recreation Director and /or the
President of the Community Council of the Town of LaFayette.
For your convenience there is a drop box at the community center.
Family Events
Community Recreation, Saturdays in Jan and Feb (til break)the HS gym
will be open from 1-3pm for a variety of activities including volleyball,
dodgeball, wiffleball, etc.
Attention Coaches
SUNY Youth Sports Coaches Training at Grimshaw cafeteria
Saturday, March 24th, 9am-1pm.

CPR/AED for our coaches Tuesday March 22nd, Grimshaw (room TBA) 6-9pm
Saturday, April 7th, 9am-12pm, Laf Fire Station #1.
Classes are offered free for LCC coaches and volunteers, and
are open to community members for a $15 donation to LCC to
help cover cost of class.
Members needed!
Community Council board is looking for new members. At this time,
female members are needed to keep an even ratio of men and women.
