COMMUNITY SURVEY
CROSSROADS BUILDING 


The Town Board of LaFayette is conducting a survey of Town residents to ask for their input on the Crossroads Building, the vacant building located on the southeast corner of US Routes 11 and 20. Please review the information provided herein and provide your response to the survey as described below. Your responses will be used by the Town Board as it considers resolution for what to do with this property.

What are the options?
These are two options the Town Board developed over the past 12 months:
1. Demolish the building and construct a park – to be owned and maintained by the Town
2. Rehabilitate the building into a restaurant and inn – to be owned and operated by a private developer​

​A restaurant and inn are the current proposed commercial use of the building, as determined to be most feasible by Hanover Real Estate Development LLC. The ultimate commercial use may be different, provided it is agreed upon by the Town and its grantors.
